About the club
The Club was formed in 1972 as Stoneleigh Boys FC and has played youth football in local leagues since that time. We were one of the founding clubs in the Epsom and Ewell Youth League. The name change was made several years ago to encourage girls to join the teams and we have since had several girls playing in mixed teams and welcome all children who want to play football to come and join us.
We have teams from Under 8 to Under 17 and seek to provide an opportunity for players of all abilities to play in a team, having several teams in some age groups. As a Charter Standard Club all teams have a qualified coach and all managers and volunteers are CRB checked. This is a requirement for the Club to maintain our FA Charter Standard, but also fits in with the Club ethos of being a family Club providing opportunities for players of all abilities to play football in a safe and enjoyable environment.
We have teams playing in both the Epsom and Ewell Youth League and in the Surrey Youth League, both of which are affiliated to Surrey County FA, and provide us with well organised and balanced football leagues and non-competitive fixtures for the younger teams.
Our teams in the Epsom and Ewell Youth League play on Saturday mornings until the Under 12 age group, when they change to Sunday mornings, right up until Under 17. Surrey Youth League teams all play on Sundays. Both Leagues provide three different forms of football:-
- Mini- League (7 v 7) for Under 8,9,10
- 9 v 9 for Under 11 and Under 12
- 11-a-side for Under 12 to Under 17
Our home games are played at Auriol Park, Salisbury Road, Worcester Park, KT4 7DD, where we have sole use of the pitches provided by Epsom and Ewell Council.
