Stoneleigh Athletic Football Club is thrilled to announce the formation of a new girls’ football team for 9 and 10-year-olds. Many girls were playing at a competitive level last year for other teams in the Epsom and Ewell Youth Football League and the interest has grown significantly in the Stoneleigh area over the last year that they are able to now form a new local team based at Auriol Park.
This milestone marks a significant step in encouraging young girls in the community to engage in football, physical activity, teamwork, and the spirit of competition. Under the expert guidance of experienced coaches, the team will focus on teaching the fundamentals of football while emphasising the importance of fun in a competitive environment.
The team welcomes all skill levels, from beginners to more experienced players, ensuring that every girl can participate and improve. The coaching team comprises seasoned professionals dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for the players with opportunities to train
Training will be held once a week at Auriol Park in the summer and Epsom and Ewell High School on their state-of-the-art 3G pitches. The team will compete in Epsom and Ewell Youth Football League alongside other Stoneleigh Athletic Girls team at various ages.
Head Coach, Brian Pavey quoted “We are incredibly excited to launch the new U11 and U10 Stoneleigh Athletic Girls Team and offer a new platform for young girls to explore their passion for football. Our goal is to create a fun, supportive, and empowering environment where every player can thrive both on and off the field.”

The club also runs fun football sessions for girls aged 5 – 11 years at our Wildcats sessions, where you can learn, make new friends and have fun. Why not come down and try it out to see how you enjoy it. The first session is free and it is then £4 per week thereafter.
These are girls only sessions where girls can play football and exercise in a fun and friendly environment. The vast majority of girls prefer to play with only other girls, where they feel comfortable to learn new skills in unpressured sessions, where enjoyment and learning social skills are the priority. For more information please contact or you can book online.
